RPO Bahawalpur Dr. Ehsan Sadiq give awards to the group of Victim response officers

Lahore: Regional Police Officer Bahawalpur Dr. Ehsan Sadiq has said that decline in the incidence of crime through the dedicated and committed endeavor of Victim response officers in Police range Bahawalpur. It is a practical reflection of solid and tangible achievements of the Police Officers to establish a crime free society.

He made these remarks while giving away certificates of appreciation and cash awards to a group of Victim response officers in a ceremony held in conference room of Regional Police Office, here, today. "The rapidly changing socio-economic and civilizational milieu warrants a major paradigm shift both at conceptual and functional level of policing which gets practically manifested by implementing the modus operandi of Victim response officers in Bahawalpur region, he noted.

As many as 72 Victim Response officers through their dedicated and sustainable facilitation mechanism managed to resolve more than 26 thousand cases of minor crimes through mutual consent of the contestants by mobilizing the services of members of the local community, RPO said.

If these minor crimes were left unresolved, Resultantly the decadent culture of litigation would have automatically come into action and these minor crimes would might have led to a constant rivalry between the contestant parties, but Victim response officers brilliant efforts settled more than 26 thousand issues at the initial levels which is an extremely positive and welcome development, Regional Police Officer Dr. Ehsan Sadiq maintained.

He urged upon Victim Response officers to perform their duties diligently to earn honour and glory for their own-selves and for their department as well.

Later, he gave away certificates of appreciation and cash awards to Victim Response officers of 3 districts of Bahawalpur which include: – Hamatta Ram; Ghulam Ghaus; Muhammad Makki;Muhammad Anwer; Muhammad Arif from district Rahim Yar Khan; Toseeq Ahmad; Muhammad Arshad; Ahsan Zia; Matloob Ahmad and Muhammd Afzal from district Bahawalnagar whereas Muhammad Qasim; Mushtaq Ahmad from district Bahawalpur and former VROs Imran Kareem Gillani; Javed Iqbal and Siraj Ahmad.
