Lahore General Hospital Administration selects 85 Drs as house officers

Lahore : General Hospital Administration has selected 85 doctors against the vacancies of house officers. These recruitments have been made under the PMDC Rules, House Foundation Year 2010.

A total of 201 candidates were interviewed by the panel comprising Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI), LGH Dr. Khalid Mahmood, MS LGH Dr.Niaz Ahmad and professors of various departments at LGH on Tuesday for final selection. The selected doctors will assume their responsibilities on 1^st July, 2016.

Principal PGMI, LGH Dr. Khalid Mahmood said that new house physicians and surgeons have been selected purely on merit and qualification and they will be given stipend on monthly basis according to the government rules.

He expressed the hope that new recruitments would go a long way to enhance the services standard and availability of medical facilities in the hospital. He emphasized the new comers to perform their duties with dedication and a sense to serve the ailing humanity.
