A delegation of PAT calls on Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: A delegation of Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) headed by Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur called on Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi at his residence here today (Saturday) and presented him invitation from Tehrik chief Dr Tahirul Qadri for participation in June 17 sit-in.

Delegation included Sajid Naqvi, Raja Nadeem and Sajid Mahmud while PML leader Mian Muneer Ahmad was also present on the occasion.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur also apprised Ch Parvez Elahi about details of arrival of Dr Allama Tahir ul Qadri in Pakistan.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that we talk about Model Town tragedy on every platform, nobody can forget this tragedy, this is a bloody episode of oppression of the present rulers and the oppressed must get justice, blood of the martyred should not be allowed to go waste. He said that he had reached Minhajul Quran Secretariat ahead of everyone.

Along with the invitation, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur also presented a pamphlet about Model Town tragedy which contained brief about situation after the tragedy till now.
