PM Nawaz Sharif concerns over killing of woman who married person of her choice

Lahore : Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Friday expressed deep concern and anguish over the killing of a woman in Lahore, as she married a person of her choice against the wishes of her family.

The Prime Minister in a message termed the incident in which the woman was reportedly killed by her relatives, against the values and traditions of Islam, directed the authorities in Punjab to immediately apprehend all those responsible for this reprehensible act

He also sought a comprehensive report on the tragic incident.
