Secretary Specialized Healthcare visits Government Said Mitha Teaching Hospital

Lahore: Secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education, Najam Ahmed Shah has said that best treatment facilities can be provided to the patients by enhancing  performance of the hospitals as a result of good working relationship and teamwork between hospital administration, surgeons and supporting staff in public sector hospitals. He said that government Said Mitha Teaching Hospital is an example for other hospitals to follow with regard to performance.

He expressed these views during visit to Government Said Mitha Teaching Hospital, here today. MS Dr. Haq Nawaz Bharwana, other administrative doctors and nurses were also present on the occasion. Najam Ahmed Shah took round of outdoor, emergency, paediatric ward, Gynae, cardiology ward, surgery, laboratory, pharmacy and other departments and inquired from the patients about the facilities being extended to them.

Najam Ahmed Shah inaugurated new PCR machine in Hospital. Dr. Haq Nawaz Bharwana told that all medicines, laboratory tests, other diagnostic tests and disposables used in the operation are being provided free of cost to the patients, Secretary Health appreciated the professional devotion of the staff of the hospital and spirit of services to the patients.

Najam Ahmed Shah said that he is pleased to visit the hospital and he said that if the team of any hospital determined to work hard with collaboration and harmony then the hospital can be run in a better way while remaining within the resources. He appreciated the efforts of the entire team of the hospital and MS Dr. Haq Nawaz Bharwana for providing best facilities to the patients.
