Old enmity claims two lives in Mandi Bahauddin

Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal) : Old enmity claims two lives. According to details there is old enmity between two groups of Dhok Kasib, a village near Chillianawal Railway Station in precincts of Mandi Bahauddin Sadar Police.

On Friday morning Yar Muhammad Lambardar with his grandson Mumtaz was going on Pinero vehicle to Chillianwala Railway Station where his opposite groups’ persons were ambushing him. As soon as the vehicle came in their effective range, the opposite group opened fire on the vehicle.

Yar Muhammad Lambardar with his grandson died on the spot. A shopkeeper was also injured. DSP Sadar Amir Sultan with police party reached the place of occurrence and after inspecting the site moved dead bodies to DHQ Hospital Mandi Bahauddin.

After autopsy the dead bodies were handed over to their heirs. Sadar Police have registered case against the killers and further investigation is in progress.
