Lahore: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Dr Syed Asif Karmani Friday said that the Terms of Reference (ToR) made by opposition parties were biased.
The opposition parties had exempted their party leaders in ToR, who were also mentioned in Panama Papers, he said.
The accountability would be carried out against all those mentioned in Panama papers through judicial commission, he declared while talking to a news channel.
Asif Kirmani said that although the Prime Minister’s name was not mentioned in Panama papers despite that the Prime Minister had presented himself and his family for accountability. He said that any one can get Prime Minister’s asset’s detail of tax returns from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
The special assistant said, no one had constitutional right to dictate the judicial commission on Panama papers.He said that the government was ready to talk with opposition on ToR to sort out mutual solution of the issue.
Replying to a question, he said that the government was not under any pressure as public representatives have constitutional right to go in public gatherings.
