Anti-dengue teams to submit pictorial report of destroying larva on hotspots

Lahore: Town Municipal Officer Samanabad Town, Malik Imtiaz Awan has directed heads of anti-dengue teams to enhance android activities and submit pictorial report of destroying larva on hotspots of dengue larva before and after taking action at indoor and outdoor.

He stated this while presiding over a meeting of Emergency Response Committee at Samanabad Town, here today. Town Officers and officers of other concerned departments were present on the occasion. He directed WASA authorities to submit report after immediate desilting of Samanabad nullah and Gulshan-e-Ravi drain.

He emphasized upon concerned officers to pay attention to hold zero period in schools situated in the town and it should be ensured that the students come to school by wearing full sleeves shirts and pants.

He stressed upon officials of social welfare to expedite their campaign to visit houses and provide awareness to the people to keep trays of their fridges clean, not to accumulate water near water tank or any place in the house besides pamphlets and other informative literature regarding precautionary measures should be provided to them.
