Assistant Prof Dr Ayyaz Ahmad wins Emerald global awards for the year 2015

Lahore: Punjab University Institute of Quality & Management (IQTM)’s Assistant Prof Dr Ayyaz Ahmad has won a prestigious international award on the basis of his excellent doctoral research for the year 2015.

He has been selected by the editorial team of International Journal of Operations & Production Management as a Highly Commended Award winner of the year 2015 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards in the Operations and Management category.

Emerald global awards are presented in cooperation with the Brussels based European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), which manages the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). This is a matter of great pleasure and pride for IQTM and PU.

It is not very common for researchers in Pakistani varsities to win such an award at international level where the competition is open to all countries of the world.

Therefore, this prestigious award, won by Dr Ayyaz Ahmad, has earned him recognition and respect as an individual but at the same time for IQTM and Punjab University as well. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has congratulated Dr Ayyaz for this outstanding achievement.
