PEF issues final warning to NSP partners

PEF Director (NSP) Maliha BatoolLahore: The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has directed the partner schools, associated with the public private partnership based New School Program (NSP), to provide their schools registration certificate to the foundation.

A circular in this regard has been issued by the PEF Director (NSP) Maliha Batool.

The circular stated that the NSP partners have had been informed, time and again, to provide their registration certificates issued by the concerned office of EDO (Edu). Through this circular, the NSP partners, failing to submit their registration certificates, are issued final warning to submit the required document within fifteen days positively, failing which, strict action will be taken. Punjab Education Foundation will also get the registration certificates verified from the School Education Department (SED); and in case of a bogus certificate, partnership will be cancelled, besides initiating legal action, the circular further warned.

Meanwhile, Punjab Education Foundation has provided 8010 textbooks to 11 partner schools in Jhelum, 54396 textbooks to 53 school partners in Minchin Abad and 55225 textbooks to 80 school heads of Taunsa Sharif on Wednesday. It will continue books distribution drive in the districts of Rawalpindi, Sahiwal and Toba Tek Singh, today (April 21).
