Jamaat e Islami demands action plan against economic, political terrorism

Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that militancy had taken birth out of economic and political terrorism and a tyrannical system and it was imperative to prepare an action plan against these like the NAP against terrorism.

Talking to the media outside the parliament on Monday, he said it was matter of great shame that the poor masses were compelled to spend their life on footpaths whereas the greed of the ruling elite had crossed all limits.

The JI chief said that after the Panama Leaks mentioning the names of the Prime Minister’s family members, the Premier should have stepped down on moral grounds and a Commission under the supervision of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court including three senior most serving judges should have been constituted for an enquiry into the matter and for retrieving the ill gotten money from abroad.

He said that the corrupt ruling elite besides ex generals, bureaucrats and some former judges were also listed by the Panama leaks and apart from the Sharif brothers, there were about two hundred others.

He said that the rulers had made the accountability network totally helpless and nobody was ready to lay hand on big plunderer and added that the enquiry Commission should be tasked to hold an enquiry against all these and recover their ill gotten billions.

He said that the rulers had lowered the country’s image abroad and stressed that the Premier  should resign before the masses took to streets to demand his resignation.
