Lahore: The Nizam e Mustafa Conference of all the religious parties of the country would be held here at Mansoora tomorrow morning.
Chairman of the Steering Committee of the religious alliance, Liaqat Baloch, said that the conference was being organized for safeguarding the national solidarity, the country’s Islamic ideology and also to counter Punjab Government legislation violating the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah aiming at destroying the Muslim family system.
The moot would have three sessions during which a draft law would also be prepared against the violence against the womenfolk in the light of the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.
Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, JUI(F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman, JUI(S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq, Jama’t Al Da’wa chief Prof. Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, Ahle Hadith leader Prof. Sajid Mir, JUP chief Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Maulana Abdul Ma’lik, Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar, and others will address the moot.
Liaqat Baloch was confident that the conference would prove a milestone in the defense of the Islamic laws and obstructing the onslaught of secularism in the country achieved in the name of Islam.
