Shaukat Hayat assumed the charge of IG Motorway Police

Lahore: Shaukat Hayat, a BS-22 officer of Police Service of Pakistan,has assumed the charge of Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police.

On his arrival at NH&MP Headquarters Islamabad, DIG Operations NH&MP Ghulam Rasool Zahid, DIG Headquarters Haleena Saeed and other senior officers warmly welcomed him. He is the 13^th Inspector General of National Highways &Motorway Police.

Shaukat Hayat is a notable police officer and previously he was serving as Additional Inspector General Police KhybePakhtunkhwa.

Earlier, he had served on various senior posts of police department in KPK. Inspector General, Shaukat Hayat is known as professional, dedicated and honest police officer in Police Service of Pakistan. The outgoing IG National Highway and Motorway Police Muhammad Saleem Bhatti has been posted as senior member of Prime Minster Inspection Commission.
