Lahore : Police thrashed PPP workers including vice president Punjab Malik Sohail at Jinnah Hospital. The police closed the doors hours before the arrival of the chairman Bilawal Bhutto and did not allow the even the PPP MPA’s Faiza Ahmed Malik, Khurram Wattoo and others who were there to inquire after the injured and to welcome chairman Bilawal Bhutto.
PPP Punjab vice president Malik Sohail who managed to reach at emergency ward with few workers to see a glimpse of his leader,were badly treated by police and slapped by the duty officers.
The police officers presented at Jinnah Hospital ,closed the gates of the hospital for all including the attendants of the admitted injured of the Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park Suicide attack and did not permit even the patients being taken for treatment at Jinnah Hospital that created panic among the people.
The PPP MPAs have condemned the Punjab government for maltreating and vowed to reply in the Punjab Assembly session which is going to start from tomorrow on Wednesday afternoon.
