Lawyers of Mandi Bahauddin condemn the terrorist attack in Lahore

Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal) : Lawyers of Mandi Bahauddin strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Gulshan Iqbal Park Lahore, claiming 72 lives and injuring above 300 innocent citizens including women and children.

They on the call of Punjab Bar Council observed full day boycott of courts and held a meeting with President DBA Nazir Salfi in chair, as a mark of mourning and express solidarity with the bereaved families.

During their address speakers said it was not the first incident, They said similar tragic, horrifying and macabre incidents took place killing and injuring persons in thousands including women and children; the terrorists even did not spare small students. They blamed the government for its failure to ensure protection life and property of citizens.

After every incident conferences are held at GHQ and PM house followed by statements that such attacks could not demoralize our nation. Some instructions are also passed to security agencies to trace out culprits for taking them to task. Similar conferences were held after Gulshan Iqbal incident.

They also said present rulers were not focusing on welfare and protection of public; their main focus is to gather wealth and lead comfortable corrupt life. They urged rulers to quit if they are not able to provide protection to people.

At the end collective prayers was held for eternal peace of the departed souls and speedy recovery of the injured. Besides president, speakers included Ijaz Sahi, Fateh Gondal, Farooq Gondal and Sher Gondal
