Bilal Yasin visits Shadman Sunday bazaar

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin has said that government is paying special attention to the provision of quality edible items and fresh fruits in Sunday bazaars and by eliminating the role of middleman, an opportunity has been given to farmers to sell their products directly to the citizens and get due return.

He expressed these views while talking to consumers at Shadman Sunday bazaar, here today. TMO Data Ganj Bakhsh Town also accompanied him. The Provincial Minister said that Sunday bazaars are playing an important role for the provision of cheaper and quality eatable items to the citizens. He said that these bazaars have helped in fulfilling the food requirements of the public.

He said that scope of the Sunday bazaars will further be expanded so that common man could rid of price hike. He said that Muslim League-N government is making efforts to provide facilities to the citizens for improving their living standard.

Bilal Yasin said that after setting up of metro bus system, orange line metro train service reflects the determination that the government has diverted development resources for the welfare of common man so that every person could benefit from the fruits of democracy. He said that Chief Minister Shehbaz is endeavoring to make Punjab province a role model with regard to development and welfare of the people.

The Provincial Minister directed TMO Data Ganj Bakhsh Town to improve parking system in Shadman Sunday bazaar so that the consumers should not face any parking problem. He further said that security arrangements and sitting arrangements for senior citizens should also be improved.
