90 assistant professors promoted as associate professors

Lahore: Provincial Selection Board (PSB-2) in its 11^th meeting presided over by Additional Chief Secretary Punjab Shumail Ahmad Khawaja gave promotion to 90 male assistant professors (Grade-18) of government commerce colleges as associate professors in Grade 19.

On the special instructions of Shamail Ahmad Khawaja, 10 meetings of PSB-2 were held during current quarter for disposing of pending promotion cases of different provincial departments whereas the 11^th meeting of PSB-2 for the promotion of commerce professors was held after September 2011. The meeting held at the committee room of Civil Secretariat decided that the 12^th, 13^th and 14^th meeting of PSB-2 will be held on March 29, 30 and 31 respectively in which cases of promotion of Grade-18 officers School Education Department, Higher Education Department, Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department will be considered.
