The bandits killed who robbed the cops

Lahore: Kasur police have  killed two  notorious accused in an encounter but the DPO Ali Nasir Rizvi said that the accused were killed by their own accomplices.

Ghulam Abbas made a 15 call regarding snatching of his motorcycle and 11 thousand rupees by 7/8 dacoits riding on 3 motorcycles near Sarai Mughal road, PS City Patokki. Police immediately reached the scene of occurrence and made necessary announcements for picketing and started chasing them. A police party confronted the accused on Beharwal road. Dacoits opened fire on Police and fled away towards Rodye road.
The police officials had a very narrow escape. The Police vehicle got damaged due to firing. Police parties kept on searching for the dacoits. Police parties came across them on Rodye road, PS Sarai Mughal.
On seeing Police, they resorted to indiscriminate firing by taking different positions. Police also fired in self defence. When firing stopped, police found one dead body and one injured accused along with one Kalashankov and one pistol and two motorcycles, one of them was the same snatched motorcycle. The injured accused identified himself as Khadim alias Khado and he told that the dead accused was Amanat alias Ghora. He also disclosed that they were the same accused who snatched private pistol and robbed two ASIs of PS Sarai Mughal few days back.
The injured accused was shifted to hospital but succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. Khadim was involved in more than 31 cases and Amanat in more than seven cases of robbery, dacoity, police encounter, theft and illegal weapons cases of Kasur district. Both the dacoits got killed by the firing of their own co accused/accomplices. Police is in search of other accused.
