Saints would foil every effort to secularize the country :Khawaja Moeen ud Din Koreja

Khawaja Moeen ud Din KorejaLahore: The Sajjada Nasheen of the Kot Mithan Sharif, and Chairman of the Ulema and Mashaikh Rabita Council, Khawaja Moeen ud Din Koreja, has said that the grave threat to the country’s existence and stability at present could be faced only by promoting peace, love and brotherhood.

Addressing news conference at Lahore Press Club on Thursday, he said that the enemies of the country wanted to undo Pakistan under the garb of terrorism, but added that the menace could be countered by spreading the message of tolerance peace and affection. He said the seats of the saints had always been the centers of love, peace and tolerance.

He said the entire nation stood united on the issue of the Namoos e Risalat and the Rabita Council had been set up to further strengthen these feelings. He declared that the millions of the devotees of the saints would foil every effort to secularize the country. He said the Ulema and Mashaikh had decided to play their due role in every effort to change the ideological character of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, the Rabita Council Coordinator, Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha, said that the nation fully acknowledged the important role of the Ulema and the Mashaikh during the Tehrik e Nizame Mustafa and the Tehrik e Khatme Nubuwwat.

Commenting on the statement of the Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah regarding the Women Protection Law, Farid Piracha said that some ministers were leading the government to the point of failure instead of giving it a good advice.
