Wildlife arrest five hunter for illegal hunting,receive fine too

Lahore: The raiding team of Wildlife Punjab arrested five persons involved in illegal hunting in Bajnot and Salamsar, Cholistan and received Rs. 2.5 lakh as fine along with hunted birds and animals.

According to details, a team constituted under the supervision of Deputy Director Wildlife Bahawalpur received secret information that some persons are involved in illegal hunting in Bajnot and Salamsar, Cholistan upon which, the team conducted a raid late at night and arrested Wajid Shah and Ahmad Ali Hiraj residents of Khanewal, Usman of Yazman, Hasnain Shah and Inam-ul-Haq of Jhang along with hunted two chankara dears and birds.

The team took action against them under Wildlife Act and received two lakh 50 thousand rupees as fine.
