Lahore: The Punjab Education Foundation has started textbooks’ dispatching activity from Monday. During this gigantic exercise, 7.1 million textbooks will be sent to different destinations for free distribution in the partner schools.
For this purpose, 58 sites have been identified in different tehsils and districts to distribute these textbooks in the partners.
Punjab Education Foundation has set up books distribution committee with Director (Finance) Kamran Hafeez at its convener.
It may be added here that Punjab Education Foundation provides monthly fee and textbooks to its school partners for the free education of students from low income families. Currently, 1.9 million male and female students are enrolled in PEF partner schools in 36 districts of the province.
