Lahore: Annual Sports Day of Ameer-ud-Din Medical College and Lahore General Hospital will be held on March 15 (Today) at Punjab Stadium which will be participated by doctors and medical students enthusiastically.
This was informed by Principal PGMI and LGH Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood while presiding over a meeting, here on Monday. He said that the sports day would be a colourful event wherein various games like Chati race, three leg race, back race, musical chairs, band march and ‘gol gappay” eating competitions would be held. He said that people associated with health and medical are very important segments of our society who work under great stress and pressure while treating the ailing humanity.
They also need fun and entertainment to keep fresh and normal. Such positive activities would definitely improve their performance and temperament to serve, he added.
Dr. Khalid Mahmood said that families of doctors and nurses would also participate in the sports. He further told that best positive and purposeful precedents at PGMI & LGH are being set up and it is expected that this annual activity would become a permanent annual feature during coming years.
