Motorways police to start a special patrolling on highways focusing on motorcyclist :

Lahore: IG Motorway Police Saleem Bhatti has directed to start a special patrolling on highways with focus on motorcyclist in the entire zone.  Mirza Faran Baig DIG N-5 Central Zone, himself participated in the special patrolling and supervised it personally.

He also paid a special visit of N-5 on National Highways. During his visit of Sector he ordered to enhance special checking on motorcyclist violations to control accidents on highways.

DIG Mirza Faran Baig directed the Beat Commanders to take immediate steps to reduced traffic accidents on national highways. He said that every vehicle should follow the lane discipline and speed limits falling which the vehicle would be impound and driver’s license would be cancelled. He said that it is encouraging that maximum lane discipline as it is being followed on National Highways and Inshallah very soon 100 % lane discipline would be followed and the right lane for the car drivers would be available as clear for driving.
