LPG is filled in vehicles with Dongy Pump in Mandi Bahauddin

Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal) : Although a ban is put on decanting and refilling Liquid Petroleum Gas  yet it has been witnessed that LPG filling outlets have mushroomed during last few years. “Any leakage during filling of cylinders’ might cause an explosion as the LPG is highly inflammable”, President District CNG Association Nasrullah Warraich said.

He further said not only domestic cylinders are being filled but also LPG is filled in vehicles with Dongy Pump. This illegal practice is going on unabated and the concerned officials are not taking any action.  He alleged this illegal business had spread across the district probably with the convenience of the local administration.

He said some filling points are in congested area and a single blast there can lead to series of explosions causing colossal damage to life and property. He urged the local administration to close down all unauthorized filling points in the district and deal with those who are involved in this illegal and dangerous business.
