Lahore: Federal Minister for Trade & Industries Khurram Dastagir has said that Pakistan and Belarus will extend cooperation to each other in culture, education, science & technology and industry sectors for strengthening of economy in the region.
He expressed these views while addressing a 20-member delegation led by Minister Trade & Industry Belarus, visiting Lahore. Federal and Provincial Secretaries Industries, officers of Punjab Board of Investment and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
Khurram Dastagir said that relations of Pakistan and Russia have improved for the last few years and will further strengthen in future. He said that geographically Pakistan is the best country for investment and trade and opportunities of 100 percent safe investment are being provided to the investors here.
He said that there are vast opportunities of investment in industry sector and Pakistan and Belarus intend to promote tariff free trade with each other due to which political and economic development of both the countries will result in prosperity of the region. He said that 68 MoUs have been signed between Pakistan and Russia so far which is a proof to strong ties between the two countries.
He said that both the countries will benefit from experiences of each other in different sectors of life including science, technology, health, education, culture and industry and will result in playing an important role in strengthening of economy of the two countries.
