Anti-dengue campaign planned in PEF partner schools

PEFLahore: Punjab Education Foundation  has planned to categorize the private schools associated under Education Voucher Scheme (EVS) in the province.

For this purpose, a departmental circular has been issued by the PEF Director (EVS) Ms. Samina Nawaz here today.

According to the circular, EVS schools will be visited by on the basis of these indicators. PEF has given the detail of indicators at its official website for partners’ convenience. PEF partner schools can check their capacity through Student Information System (SIS) account available in the PEF server. Present capacity of the EVS partnering institutions will be taken into account before issuance of vouchers. The circular has also directed the schools to give special attention to provision of educational facilities along-with the school-building so that the students could study in conducive atmosphere.

Meanwhile, PEF Director (New School Program) Ms. Maliha Batool has asked the NSP partnering schools to initiate anti-dengue campaign in their schools so that the students and teachers could remain safe from this disease. She has warned the school partners that action would be initiated if dengue larva is found in any school, adding that this may result in closure of funds, fine or cancellation of partnership.
