A dacoit killed by his own fellow during an encounter in Kasur

Lahore: A dacoits was killed with the firing of his own fellow during in a police encounter in the vicinity of Nasir.
According to the DPO Nasir Ali Nasir Rizvi,

Abid Ali made a 15 emergency call regarding snatching of his motorcycle and 7/8 thousand cash by two unknown accused from the area near press club, PS A Div. Police reached the scene of occurrence and then started chasing the accused.
SHO Sadar tried to intercept the accused near Steel Bagh Chowk but the accused resorted to indiscriminate firing and fled away. Police kept on chasing. Both the criminals threw their motorcycle near Kali Pulli and rushed towards nearby locality.

Police chased and on seeing police party approaching, both the criminals took positions on different sides and started firing on police.
One of the accused got injured from the firing of his co accused. Police also fired in self defence. The other accused fled away taking the advantage of darkness. The injured accused identified him as Nadeem alias Demma and also confessed that he was the same criminal who abducted and committed rape with a minor girl of 5 years yesterday night.
Police recovered a pistol from the spot. The injured accused was shifted to hospital but succumbed to his injuries on the way. He got killed by the firing of his own accomplice. Police is in search of other accused, DPO Kasur SSP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi added.
