Lahore: The Punjab Education Foundation has modified the financial support of private schools associated with its education voucher scheme from upcoming academic year. Now, vouchers’ funding is level wise divided into primary, elementary, secondary (arts) and secondary (science) categories.
PEF director (EVS) Samina Nawaz has issued a departmental circular in this regard here today. According to the circular, sample of revised vouchers reimbursement letter is uploaded at PEF official website for partners’ convenience.
PEF has asked the EVS school partners to deposit finance copy of vouchers (April 2016 to March 2017) along-with amended letter, at their schools letter heads, to the foundation for further processing of the case.
Meanwhile, a two-member delegation of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) including senior disaster solutions associate Dr. Farah Ayub and assistant field officer Yasir Ayaz khan visited the head office of Punjab Education Foundation today.
PEF’s deputy managing director (Ops) Tariq Rafiq and program directors briefed the delegation about their educational performance and future plans in the province.
The UNHCR delegation appreciated foundation’s work for providing free schooling facility to the needy and deserving families.
