PML-N is spreading terrorism in the Province: Jahangir Tareen,Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

Jahangir Tareen,Aleem Khan,Khurram Nawaz Gundapur,Noor Ullah SidiqiLahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Jahangir Tareen and Abdul Aleem Khan called on the secretary general of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Khurram Nawaz Gandapur on Saturday at the Model Town secretariat .

The PTI leaders discussed the present political circumstances including lawlessness, unemployment, corruption and the Punjab Government’s vengeance policy against the PAT workers. The PTI leaders also prayed for health and well-being of the PAT chairman Dr. Tahirul Qadri.

The two parties discussed in detail the up-coming by-elections in Gujranwala for NA-101. The PTI leaders strongly condemned the attack by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz vagabonds on Raja Nadeem, a PAT leader and major witness in the Model Town tragedy case.

The PTI leaders were of the view that PML-N was spreading terrorism in the Province by targeting its political opponents. Tareen said that if this kind of treatment to political workers continues at the hands of PML-N than the time is not far when all the political parties of the country will be out on the streets against the present rulers and their cruel rule. He said both PTI and PAT are on the same page and want cheap and instant justice for the downtrodden people of the country.

The leaders were of the view that if the hands of the prime minister and his cabinet are clean that they have no reason to fear from the accountability and must face the National Accountability Bureau and its investigations.

The PTI leaders said that it is painful to see that even after the passing of two years the martyrs of Model Town have not been given justice and the bigger tragedy is that the victims are being portrayed as the culprits by the Punjab Government only to save the skins of their hired assassins roaming around in the uniform of the Punjab Police.  They said that a free and fair trial must be held and all investigation should be held in a transparent manner so that the world comes to know who the actual culprits are.

The leaders vowed to face the brutalities of the Punjab government hand in hand. The PAT leaders informed that the PAT will be holding an All Parties Conference on the Model Town massacre in the month of March and extended an invitation to the PTI leaders who gladly accepted it.
