Lahore: Central leader of PML-N, Hamza Shahbaz MNA has said that our morale is higher than Himalayas for the elimination of terrorism from country and resolving national problems. He said that the present leadership is moving forward sincerely. He said that unfortunately different statements are being issued against important projects of national development which have no link to the facts. He said that reduction in corruption in the country has been accepted at international level and ranking of Pakistan has improved.
Addressing Nazria-e-Pakistan conference, here today, Hamza Shahbaz said that time has come to take important decisions jointly and democracy and continuous policies are of paramount importance for improvement on permanent basis. He said that respect is not in power but in the hearts of the people. Future of the country is bright and we will have to move ahead by neglecting faults of others, he added.
He said that peace is being restored in Karachi due to effective strategy and the steps taken by present government against terrorism. He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, by taking all political parties along on economic corridor, has proved a great vision due to which this project will not become controversial like Kala Bagh Dam.
Hamza Shahbaz said that some people want to satisfy themselves by unduly criticizing orange line train, economic corridor and ongoing projects in power sector but people have to decide who has performed well. He expressed the hope that load-shedding will be eliminated by 2018 with the completion of economic corridor, LNG and other electricity projects for making Pakistan prosperous in accordance with the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He said that present leadership decided to resolve big problems with sincerity as a result of which people also got relief in Pakistan with reduction of oil prices in international market. He said that our reserves have increased and good news will be listened in coming days. He asked young generation to first of all become successful human beings before succeeding in any sector.
Former President Muhammad Rafique Tarar presided over the conference while Federal Railways Minister Kh. Saad Rafique, Prof. Rafique Ahmed, Iftikhar Ali Malik and Naeem Hussain Chatha also spoke on the occasion. Shahid Rasheed termed Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif as Shahbaz Pakistan and Hamza Shahbaz as Shaheen-e-Pakistan. Students of schools also presented national songs.
