Custom authorities recover 50 pigeons illegally brought from Kuwait

Lahore: A team constituted by Director General Wildlife & Parks Punjab Khalid Ayaz Khan with the help of Custom authorities has recovered 50 pigeons illegally brought from Kuwait to Lahore at Allama Iqbal International Airport and received departmental fine of 35 thousand rupees.

According to details, one Tariq Mahmood Bhatti s/o Abdul Hameed Bhatti r/o Kaleywala, tehsil Wazirabad, district Gujranwala was bringing 50 pigeons illegally from Kuwait, upon which, the raiding team headed by Assistant Director Shakoor Manj and Inspector Rana Muhammad Younas with the assistance of Custom authorities took action and recovered 35 thousand rupees as departmental fine under Wildlife Act from him.
