Gulberg Town administration sealed Ambassador hotel and Mughal-e-Azam banquet hall

Lahore: Ambassador hotel, Shimla Pahari Davis Road has been sealed by Gulberg Town for dirty environment and unhygienic food .

During the inspection the raiding team found fungus grown on self made cake placed  in chiller,
cosmetic color was being used in food items, expired breads found in kitchen, abundant blood in raw chicken tray placed in freezer, improper covering  of food items in freezers and kitchen, dirty corners of racks and food surfaces,11 food handlers working  without medicals.

Meanwhile; Director food ayesha Mumtaz conducted a raid at a marriage hall Mughal-e-Azam ,Garden Town and sealed the building after inspecting the kitchen that was contaminated with infecting organisms. The hall was booked for two wedding and an engagement ceremony.

When the hosts and guest found the hall sealed they requested to director food to open the hall so they could hold the ceremonies, Ayesha Mumtaz desealed the hall for ceremony but did not allow the management to serve the unhygienic food to the guests. She remained there all the time for hours for the completion of the ceremonies. Later he made arrest of the 3 employees of the hall who were trying to take food out of the hall.

After the marriage ceremonies,Ayesha Mumtaz again sealed the hall.
