Lahore: A special team of Wildlife & Parks Punjab conducted a raid with the help of Pakistan Rangers in border area and recovered departmental fine of Rs. 30 thousand from three persons for illegal hunting of waterfowl and hare.
According to details, Muhammad Akram, Zeshan and Muhammad Zulfiqar were engaged in illegal hunting of waterfowls in border areas Sher Zaman Check Post 5 Wing Qaduwal, Kasur. The special team of Wildlife Department conducted a raid with the help of rangers and recovered from them a departmental fine of Rs.30 thousand.
In a separate incident,Muhammad Iqbal and Muhammad Rafique involved in illegal hunting of hare were nabbed in the border area of Nek Muhammad Shaheed Check Post 5 Wing,Kasur with the help of Pakistan Rangers and presented before Civil Judge Chunian Azhar Farid Chishti who released them on surety bonds of Rs. one lakh and ordered them to appear before the court on March 18, 2016.
