Prime Minister announces Rs. 5 lacs to each member of the winning hockey team

Lahore: Pakistan Hockey Federation is grateful to the Prime Minister of Pakistan/Patron-in-Chief of PHF, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for the generous announcement of Rs. 5 lacs to each member of the winning hockey team of the recently concluded South Asian Games in India.

This gesture of the Prime Minister speaks volumes for his love and passion for the game of Hockey.

Pakistan Hockey Federation assures each and every lover and supporter of hockey that it will leave no stone unturned in promoting and reviving the game of hockey in Pakistan. We need continued support, guidance and sincere wishes of all.

Pakistan senior hockey team will participate in the 25^th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup to be played in Ipoh/Malaysia from 7^th to 17^th April 2016.

To spot the talented players from Khyber Pakhtoonkha, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan, A. J & K and FATA, the trials will be held on 20^th February 2016 at Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium, Peshawar at 1000 hours.
