Awards giving ceremony held at Rangers public school Mandi Bahauddin

Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal): Cash awards amounting to Rs 350, 000 distribution ceremony was held in the honour of 20 exceptional students of Rangers public school Mandi Bahauddin who attained distinctive positions securing 90% and above marks in Federal Board Education Islamabad on Wednesday at the school lawn.

Commandant Pakistan Rangers Academy Colonel Nadeem Aslam and Mrs. Colonel Nadeem were the chief guests on the occasion. A large number of students, their parents, Rangers officers, ladies and faculty members of the school were present on the occasion.

The program was started with recitation of Quran followed by its Urdu translation by a student. Thereafter tender age students attired in fancy dresses welcomed the guests with singing lyric “Labe pe aati hai dua ban ke tamanna meri. Zindgi shamma ki soorat ho khudaya meri” in the background. Principal Rana Maqsood in his welcome address reiterated that the school is putting all the efforts to provide academically vibrant learning environments to give them necessary confidence for progress in life. Highlighting achievements of the school, he said last year 20 students of this college secured 90% and above marks in intermediate and secondary exams and was declared as best institution among all rangers schools in Punjab. A function was held at Lahore where top ten students, their parents and teachers were invited.

DG Pakistan Rangers awarded Shield to this school and cash prizes to teachers and students for their hard work and producing outstanding results. He said students securing top positions are not only pride of this school but also bringing laurels to the nation. At the end the chief guests distributed prizes among the students, who got 90% and above marks.

Col Nadeem Aslam congratulated the students on their best performance and advised them to continue their efforts to achieve their goals of life. He called on parents to focus on education of children for better future of the nation. As head of the institution he and whole staff of the institution would endeavor to provide conducive environment to learning with an aim to enable students to excel in Board examination.
