Lahore: Two brothers and their fellow from Upper Dir have killed a woman in Lahore for rejecting a man “Khan” who was selected by her family . Baghbanpura police have registered a case but failed to arrest any accused.
The complainant Zar Muhammad Khan reported that her cousin Saddam Khan married with Irum D/O Tarannum Gul Khan some four year back. Irum ‘s family have selected “Khan” for her but she refused him and married with Saddam Khan and the couple left their hometown to save lives and settle in Lahore,Begumpura.
Saddam Khan left for Saudia to earn bread & butter for his family and his wife started residing with his elder sister.In the last week of January 2016,Saddam came back on vacation.Yesterday,Saddam and his wife Irum were at Sher Khan home where Khan,his brother Gull and fellow Faiz Khan came and shot down Irum while Saddam manage to save his life by escaping from the scene.
