Shahbaz Sharif assures justice to affectees of Orange Line Train

Lahore: The landowners of Lahore Orange Line Metro Train project have thanked Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for giving maximum and higher than the market rates for their properties.

They said that under the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif, they are being given a very good price for their land and his political and administrative team is extending all out cooperation at the payment centers.

The landowners expressed these views when the Chief Minister contacted them directly at the same time through modern technology at the payment centers at Engineering University, Thokar Niaz Baig and Government College Ground Jain Mandar to review the process of payment. Landowners Ahmed Hassan, Naeem Ahmed and others while talking to the Chief Minister said that they could not believe that the compensation is being paid with such transparency and speed. They said that the Chief Minister has won their hearts and they are very happy for the amount of compensation.

The Chief Minister while addressing the landowners said that the collective efforts are being made for the implementation of this public welfare project and justice will be ensured.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif directly contacted through modern technology the payment centers set up for payment of compensation for Orange Line Metro Train project and also addressed a meeting in this regard at Civil Secretariat through video link. He through modern technology inquired from landowners, ministers, assembly members and administration present at three payment centers simultaneously regarding the pace of payment.

The landowners thanked Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif for evolving a speedy and transparent system for payment of compensation and giving best rates for their property. Talking to the Chief Minister, the landowners said that under his leadership, they are getting best rates for their property and his political and administrative team is also extending all out cooperation.

Shehbaz Sharif directly contacted payment centers at Engineering University, Thokar Niaz Baig and Government College Ground, Jain Mandar at the same time through modern technology and reviewed the payment process.
