Lahore: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Sardar Mehtab Abbasi met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today, in which matters of mutual interest and promotion of inter-provincial harmony were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is passing through a critical juncture and the importance of unity and consensus has increased ever before in the present circumstances. He said that Pakistan is all of us and we all have to steer it out of problems and take forward.
The Chief Minister said that the entire nation will have to display exemplary unity for foiling the nefarious designs of the enemy. He said that male and female students of Sindh, KPK, Baluchistan, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan have been included in the educational programmes of Punjab, through which, national solidarity and brotherhood is being promoted.
Shahbaz Sharif said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, round the clock efforts are being made for eliminating energy crisis and menace of terrorism from the country. He said that practical steps have been taken during last two and a half years for taking the country and the nation forward. He said that the work carried out on energy projects in the present era is unprecedented in the history of the country.
He expressed the hope that Pakistan will be rid of energy crisis and terrorism.
Talking on the occasion, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Sardar Mehtab Abbasi said that the performance of Shahbaz Sharif is a role model for all. He said that the way Shahbaz Sharif is serving the masses round the clock is unprecedented. He said that Shahbaz Sharif has taken practical steps for the promotion of brotherhood and inter-provincial harmony.
