University of Education organizes a bilingual inter campuses contest

Lahore: University of Education, Directorate of Students Affairs organized a bilingual inter campuses Allama Iqbal Shield Declamation contest at Seminar Hall, Admin Block, Township Campus. Registrar Dr. Manzoom Akhtar participated as chief guest while Director Students Affairs Dr. M. Umar Saleem, Director Division of Science and Technology Dr. Rana Abrar Hussain, Director QEC Dr. M. Mansha, Sohail Ashfaq Butt, Misbhah Malik and a large number of students were present at occasion. Dr. Mubashar Nadeem and Munza Tariq were adjudicators for English and Urdu speeches respectively.

The core purpose of the event was to aware students about the golden sayings and thoughts of our national poet Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal and make our lives according to his ideology for a successful life. In English speeches, Syed Faroq and Nida Batool while in Urdu speeches Ammar Hanif and Abubakar Azam obtained first and second positions respectively. Registrar Dr. Manzoom Akhtar congratulated the Director Students Affairs Dr. M. Umar Saleem on organizing a successful declamation and stressed to continue such healthy activities in future.

Meanwhile; University of Education, Bank Road Campus students, faculty members and administrative staff strongly condemned the brutal attack on Bacha Khan University and passed a censure resolution against terrorism. They paid a rich tribute to the martyrs of this incident and offered special prayers for the sovereignty, integrity and long life of Pakistan.
