Constant low gas pressure and power loadshedding exposed the inefficient rulers : Sher gondal

Mandi Bahauddin: District President Mustaqbil Pakistan Sher Gondal has said constant low gas pressure and increased unscheduled power load shedding have exposed poor performance of rulers responsible for provision of these utilities.

He was talking to media persons here the other day at press club. The incumbent government during its almost half tenure has not been able to formulate workable policy to solve people’s common problems like poverty, sky touching price hike, employment on priority basis. Presently people are passing through ordeal of not only power load shedding but also facing shortage of gas and water.

On the other hand government continues imposing different taxes that have further increased difficulties of the poor and commoners. Although rulers claim that these taxes will not impact the poor. But the fact is that these mini budgets, direct and indirect taxes badly hit lower classes of people. Sher Gondal further said it was surprising that POL price has fallen down from 120 dollar to 26 dollar per barrel but in our country prices are not lowered corresponding to decrease of POL in world market. Little relief to public by decreasing price of POL sometime back was also snatched by way of adding GST.

There is another tragedy. Despite decrease in petrol price, transport fare remained the same. NO decrease in prices of daily use is witnessed. Public is burdened with worst price hike. They have to bear shocks of load shedding and low gas pressure. It is high time for rulers to consider plight of the ruled classes and resolve their problems on priority basis. People now do not believe in claims; they want results. He added.
