Lahore: The Director General, Emergency Services Academy, Brig. Amir Hamza has said that security is right and responsibility of all, therefore, all stakeholders should play their due role to create sense of safety and security.
While presiding over a security review meeting here at Emergency Services Academy, the Director General said that we are highly concerned about security of emergency personnel and disaster response equipment stationed at the Academy, therefore, the police department has been requested to beef up the security arrangements accordingly.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Superintendent of Police, Chung Circle, SHO Chung, Registrar Emergency Services Academy, Dr. Farhan Khalid, Head of Training Wings Mian Ahsan and Admin Officer, Mudasir Bokhari.
The Director General, Brig. Amir Hamza has stated that although appropriate security measures have already been taken at the Emergency Services Academy, yet it needs to enhance further security measures as the ESA works as a backup support to enhance operational capacity of emergency operations.
The Director General, Amir Hamza has requested the Capital City Police Officer, Lahore Capt. (R) Amin Wains to enhance security arrangements for round-the-clock security system for safety of cadets, rescue officers/ officials at Emergency Services Academy, without any further delay, in order to minimize damage of any untoward terrorist activity at any time.
