Pakistan Weightlifting Federation announces Teams for South Asian Games 2016

Lahore: Pakistan Weightlifting Federation has announced National Men Women Teams for South Asian Games 2016 Weightlifting competitions scheduled to be held at Guwahati, India from  07-10 February.

Pakistan Weightlifting Federation is hopeful for very good results in heavier categories of men from Nohh Dastgir Butt and Usman Amjad  Rathor including Muhammad Shahzad of 62 Kg and Umer Rasool Lone of 77 Kg category.

Women Team is participating first time at any Mega event and PWLF is hoping to get good results from women side.

Muhammad Rashed Malik, the first foreign qualified of Pakistan, Post Graduated in Weightlifting Coaching/training from Beijing Sports University, China and Masters in Sports Sciences from University of Punjab, is giving most modern weightlifting training to women weightlifters at Lahore.
