PML-N to launch development projects in AJK after polls victory: Dr Asif Kirmani

Lahore: Adviser to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Dr Asif Kirmani has said after winning the upcoming elections, Pakistan Muslim League-N will launch numerous development projects in Azad Jammu and Kashmir for overall uplift and progress.

He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had special affection for the people of Azad Kashmir, adding his bond with AJK people was very deep and strong.

In a statement, Dr Kirmani said that the PML-N AJK Workers’ convention, scheduled to be held on January 11 in Bhimber, would indicate the future course of AJK politics.

He said under PML-N’s leadership, AJK would be developed as a modern and prosperous region.

He said that within a short span of time, the PML-N government has won the hearts of people by carrying out record development works and projects across the country.
