Jail administration is dealing corruption cases with zero tolerance: IG Farooq Nazir

Lahore: As per the direction of the Provincial Government and the Inspectorate of Prisons, this jail administration is dealing with zero tolerance against all the officers/officials involved in misconduct or corruption.
Today on the charges of corruption & misconduct, warder Taj Din No. 9874 of Camp Jail Lahore,has been punished with Major Penalty of Dismissal From Service under PEEDA Act. In this regards an inquiry was conducted by the Deputy Superintendent whereby he was proved guilty. Thereafter a show cause notice was issued and after given a chance of personal hearing disciplinary action was taken.
All the other officers/officials were directed to refrain from involving themselves in any kind of illegal activities otherwise same action will be taken against them.
