Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has directed to expedite relief activities to overcome fire in cloth market of Sargodha and said that rescue 1122 and other concerned agencies should utilize all out resources for extinguishing the fire at cloth market Sargodha.
He said that all out steps should be taken for safe rescue of people stranded in the market and best medical facilities provided to affected persons.
The Chief Minister ordered investigation into the incident and sought a report.
Meanwhile;DG Rescue Punjab Brig. Dr. Arshad Zia has moved 11 Fire Vehicles from Faisalabad; Chiniot, Khushab and Jhang to provide backup support to District Sargodha to combat fire case in almost 11 Shops at Moti Masjid Chowk, DEO Gujrat Ch. Aziz, DEO Faisalabad and Head of Ops Ayaz Aslam have also been directed to report at Operation site and join operation along with DEO Sargodha Dr. Mazhar Shah. Emergency Services are confronting narrow streets and congested routes due to dens area.
