Two Medical Superintendents served show cause notice on public feedback

Lahore: The District Coordination Officer of Bahawalpur Imran Sikandar, issued show cause notice to two Medical Superintendents on the basis of negative feedback received through Citizen Feedback Monitoring Program (CFMP).

It was reported through CFMP that a citizen Mr. Rashid was taken to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Khairpur Tamewali after a serious accident. Where no doctor was present on duty, the patient was also denied the immediate treatment required for injuries and was referred to another medical facility instead.

Another citizen Mr. Baber visited THQ Hospital Ahmedpur East at 8 am and had to wait till 11am for the duty doctor to arrive at his post. Furthermore, the complainant was mistreated by the doctor and the staff of the hospital and was also not given any medicines.
