Ch Shujaat Hussain welcomes PM Modi visit of Jaati Umra

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujaat Hussain has said if aggressive attitude of India after meeting of the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan in Jaati Umra then this meeting can be termed as positive.

Responding to questions from the journalists about the meeting, Ch Shujaat Hussain said that for making this meeting positive it is necessary that India should change its present attitude, stop discriminatory and provocative firing on the Control Line and Working Boundary which results in bloodshed of our jawans and innocent civilians and stop interference through its agencies in Karachi, Balochistan and FATA.

In reply to a question about allegations leveled by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kabul, he said we should also keep this in mind that strong foundations based Indo-Pakistan relations building cannot be constructed on allegations which Modi had leveled against Pakistan and emitted venom against Pakistan in Afghanistan just two hours prior to his meeting with Mian Nawaz Sharif.

Ch Shujaat Hussain wished that Nawaz Sharif should also have got the Quaid-i-Azam birthday cake cut by Narendra Modi prior to his own birthday.
