Manika addressed the Provincial Seerat Conference at Alhamra Hall

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Auqaf & Religious Affairs Mian Ata Muhammad Manika has said that the Holy Prophet PBUH has proved through His act and deed that Islam is a religion of peace and its believers believe in welfare of humanity.

He expressed these views while addressing a Provincial Seerat Conference at Alhamra Hall today.

He said that Islam or Muslims have no concern with terrorism. He said that Pakistan itself is facing terrorism, therefore, the western world instead of raising hue and cry of Islam phobia, should work jointly for eliminating terrorism all over the world so that the world should be made a haven of peace.

Ata Manika said that it is a good omen that Pak-Army has weakened the terrorists and now Pakistan is a safe and peaceful country where political leadership is working round the clock for the public welfare.

Provincial Ministers Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Bilal Yasin, Secretary Auqaf & Religious Affairs Nayyar Iqbal, DG Auqaf & Religious Affairs Syed Tahir Raza Bukhari, Chairman Mothida Ulema Board Punjab Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahim, Vice Chairman Punjab Institute of Quran and Seerat Studies Justice (R) Khalil-ur-Rehman Khan, Chairman Quran Board Punjab Maulana Ghulam Muhammad Sialvi, Allama Muhammad Hussain Akbar, Justice (R) Syed Afzal Haider, Dr. Sultan Shah, Prof. Dr. Mazhar Moin and Dr. Prof. Muhammad Munir Al-Azhar University Egypt attended the conference.

Speakers in their address said that Islam is a religion of peace, mutual existence and religious tolerance which has given respect to the humanity in the world. He said that Holy Prophet has also prohibited undue cutting of peace and killing of birds. He said that Islamic society ensures welfare of humanity and all human are equal without any sect, color and creed.
