First anniversary of brutal attack on Army Public School Peshawar observed in Mandi Bahauddin

Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal) : First anniversary of brutal attack on Army Public School Peshawar was observed in Mandi Bahauddin district with firm resolve to eradicate back armed forces in rooting out terrorism of all types from the country.

In this connection civil society held a function at Press Club where rallies organized by PPP, Aurat Foundation and Media persons gathered and held vigil in honor of martyred students and teaching staff of APS Peshawar,  in the evening.

Banners carrying pictures of martyr students were displayed outside press club premises. Speakers paid tribunes to martyred students and staff members of the school. Speakers addressing the function said, “Don’t forget our blood, martyred students are asking the nation”. The speakers condemned the tragic incident and termed it cowardly act of the terrorists.

The speakers included PPP District President Devan Shameem, President Aurat Foundation Yousaf Mirza, Afzal Javed Advocate and senior journalist Amjad Chishti. The function ended with prayers for martyrs and prosperity of the country.
