More than one lakh poor children got higher education through PEEF:Rana Mashhood

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that the sacrifice of martyrs of APS Peshawar has united the entire nation for eliminating terrorism. He said that the secret of our of socio-economic development and political stability lies in elimination of terrorism.

He expressed these views while addressing a seminar on the topic “unite for peace” arranged jointly by GC University and Bargad today. Provincial Minister for Finance Ayesha Ghous Pasha, Vice Chancellor Dr. Hassam Aamir Shah and Chairperson Bargad Sabiah Shaheen also addressed the seminar.

Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan said that previous governments did not provide guides to Pakistani youth due to which lawlessness, intolerance and chaos created in the society. Provincial Minister said that national action plan is not only related to war against terrorism but it was started from the day when our government eliminated booti mafia and promoted merit, when the children of the poor people started setting new educational records. He said that more than one lakh poor children got higher education through PEEF.

Rana Mashhood said that conscious people rejected previous governments in 2008 and 2013 elections as did not serve the people. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has started a decisive war against terrorism. He said that due to the efforts of present government, country has been put on the road of economic development. He said that 46 billion dollars Chinese investment in Pak- China economic corridor projects will prove a game changer.
